Unlocking Financial Health

Rising costs, higher debt, and uneven access to financial help have left millions of Canadians struggling to manage day-to-day finances, absorb a shock, or plan ahead.
 

Our 2024 paper looked at small businesses. This year we turn to individuals and households, and to one question: can giving Canadians control of their own financial data improve their financial health? We think it can, if the framework is built with that goal in mind.
